Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Buckingham lace. Under a scatter pattern of square puffs the pattern along the bottom side of the strip consists of a narrow ornamental band, which is formed by a staggered row of linked small circles. The strip consists largely of a mesh ground, a net ground. The small circles themselves are made with thick and shiny contour threads around the meshes of an ornamental ground, a rose ground. The puffs are made in form stitch. The top side of the strip is finished straight. The very shallow shell edge along the bottom side originates from the pattern with the small circles and is finished with picots.
