About this work

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Buckingham lace. The pattern consists of a row of square puffs and a zigzag line along the bottom side of the strip. The motifs are connected by a mesh ground, a net ground. The zigzag line is made in linen stitch with a thick and shiny contour thread along the top. The top side of the strip is finished straight. The zigzag line forms the shell edge along the bottom side.
