About this work
Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Buckingham lace. The repeating and continuous pattern consists of linked small ovals along the bottom side of the strip. The motifs are made in linen stitch and are connected at the top by a lattice ground, a net ground. The top side of the strip is finished straight. The small ovals form the semicircular shells along the bottom side.
