About this work
Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: old Flemish lace. The pattern consists of a tangle of oval knobs with mostly C-shaped appendages. The motifs are connected by a plaited ground. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork edges. The top and bottom of the strip are finished straight, the bottom edge featuring picots.
