Elegant bourgeois woman walking in the countryside, dressed in a 'robe à la Polonaise' for the morning. Mantelet (small shoulder cape) with hood. On her head a cap according to the latest taste. Accessories: bracelets, ring, walking stick with ribbon and tassels, fan, chatelaine, heeled shoes with rosettes. Copy after J 53 from series J. 9e Cahier des Costumes Français, 3e Suite d'Habillemens à la mode, Gallerie des Modes et Costumes Français.
